Plympton MA Open House Schedule - View Sunday‘s Schedule

Located in Plymouth County, Plympton is named for the city in Devon, England and was settled in 1662. The city has 2800 residents and takes pride in retaining its rural, historic charm, with many of the town's buildings dating to Plympton's earliest days. The houses for sale, however, tend to be newer and feature more modern amenities and designs. However, when you sign up for an open house viewing, you can also find homes for sale that were built close to 200 years ago.

The newer homes on the market in Plympton feature modern designs that include expansive open floor plans and ample living space. Newer homes sell for around $479,000 and have as many as four bedrooms. The older homes, especially those built prior to 1900, sell for around $300,000, although some can sell for higher prices. These homes feature rustic farmhouse and colonial-styles that include two-story floor plans, original hardwood stair banisters and flooring, and floor to ceiling picture windows. Most of the homes for sale in Plympton sit on large lots surrounded by lush landscaping and dense forests.
