Hudson is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts that was once a suburb of Marlborough prior to its 1866 incorporation. Hudson's early economy revolved around its 17 shoe factories. Many industries eventually settled into Hudson, growing its population. After World War II, the many farms that once (and still do) line the edges of the town were bought out by developers and new homes were constructed.
