While once a rural community, Ashland is now a town with a more suburban and urban town with a population of about 17,000 as of 2010. Additionally, Ashland is the 115th largest community in the state of Massachusetts. This Middlesex County town is also considered part of MetroWest.

Ashland has about 12.4 miles of land with plenty of multi-story homes available.
